Find your local Workforce Investment Board

Across California there are 49 local Workforce Boards. Their purpose is to help Californians get back to work.

Each Workforce Board manages several local One-Stop Career Centers. They can help you file for unemployment and look for a job. They can give you advice on what companies are hiring in your local area, and what kinds of jobs are in demand. They can even help you get training for a new career.

Your Workforce Board also helps employers find qualified employees, and provides services to help employers at risk of laying off workers.
